The day I forgot to tie my shoes.
This morning I was in a rush getting ready for school. First, I woke up and ate some cereal. Then, I had to go wake mom up and get some money. I jumped in my Vans and bolted out the door quick. As I headed for the bus stop I threw my knapsack over my shoulder. I checked to make sure I had everything in my bag as I sat down at the bus stop to wait. I was looking down at the sewer benieth me, and i noticed my shoes were untied so; I bent over to tie them. As I did that everything i needed for the day fell out of my bookbag and down the sewer! All the homework I had actually done, all the studying I had finally made time for tumbled down that deep, dark, and nasty sewer. I started flippin out! "How was i going to get my stuff back before the bus came", I looked through the sewer opening, and I could see my stuff lying on top of some damp leaves and other things. I look at the tree covering me, and I jumped up and grabbed a long tree branch. It was sharp on one side and real skinny, so it would be perfect to slide through the rings. So now i found myself lying on the ground looking down a sewer to get my thing. I reached the stick down and slid the stick through the rings and hook my binder on it perfectly. Then I pulled it up, grabbed it fast and jumped on the bus. Yay, i made it.
